Comfort has a price but safety is priceless.
HCMC, Vietnam, February 22, 2011 – Eleven foreign tourists and their Vietnamese guide have drowned after their tour boat sank in Halong Bay in north-east Vietnam.
Five days ago, the BBC wrote on their website that ‘the wooden boat was touring in the Unesco World Heritage Site, in Quang Ninh province, when it went down’. Fifteen people, including nine foreigners, have been rescued. However, it is not yet clear why the boat sank, although a local government official said initial information suggested part of the boat had broken without warning.
Halong Bay attracts thousands of tourists every year, and in order to respond to the demand, Halong Bay has seen a bunch of cruises operators taking over the Bay to take their share of the spoils. Truth is among all the cruises being offered, it is important to distinguished and to put things into perspective between the low-cost cruises often booked by backpackers and cruises with a certain level of luxury that I will assimilate to safety and comfort.
For these reasons, Vietnam-cruises takes all the possible caret o select the cruises that meet certain criteria such as safety, reliability, services, experiences and knowledge. Comfort has a price just like services and knowledge but safety is priceless.
Get on board to discover Vietnam from the sea and enjoy the best cruise selected by Vietnam cruises…and may the winds be gentle…
